Description

I visited the nature reserve with intentions of doing wildlife photography with my 55-250mm telephoto lens...but as the sun came down in the sky I couldn't help but get the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 wide angle lens out to capture a landscape photo. As I walked towards the brook, I noticed the sun beginning to light up a patch of dry grass, displaying a fiery warm glow. I scrambled over fallen trees and wet bogs to reach this perfect angle to capture the light before it vanished a few seconds later.

I've decided today to BAN myself from HDR, as things were getting too over-the-top. I wasn't liking it so much. So this has had just a few simple contrast & sharpness edits in Lightroom & Photoshop. That is all.
